At Newfriars College the careers programme provides information and experiences to help our young people, and their parents/carers make better informed and more confident decisions about future transitions, whatever the needs of the learner.

We are committed to providing a planned programme of careers education, information, advice and guidance for learners in all years. Where appropriate we ensure that all students have access to impartial careers advice from a Level 6 qualified Careers Advisor. We hope that all learners will leave Newfriars College with the skills and knowledge required to support their next steps towards a meaningful adult life including entry to employment, training, further education, volunteering or health and social care provision. We actively promote parent/carer involvement through events, EHCP Review meetings and ensuring access to information throughout the years.
